Wurtemberg

Wurtemberg is a pressed half-cooked cheese with a mixed rind made from cow’s milk. Under the smeared rind lies an ivory-coloured cheese. Its texture is soft, creamy and homogeneous with a few holes. In the mouth, the taste is bold, fruity and persistent.

This cheese is a tribute to the Dukes of Wurtemberg of the Montbéliard region who welcomed Swiss farmers with their cows at the end of the 17th century. They settled in the famous Graber farm, where Joseph Graber, creator of the Montbéliarde breed, lived.
